Welcome to Joe Clark Photography

We’re excited to introduce you to Joe Clark Photography, the next chapter in the evolution of what was once known as Glass Lakes Photography and Petoskey Print Studio. While this site is still under development, it’s fully open for exploration, and you’re welcome to browse and make purchases. If you come across any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out through the “Contact Us” option in the menu. We appreciate your patience and support as we fine-tune everything.

This rebranding reflects more than just a name change—it’s a reflection of the profound shifts Joe has undergone as an artist. Joe’s photography journey has been shaped by an autoimmune condition that has brought both challenges and new perspectives. As a result, he has reimagined how he approaches his craft and how he shares it with the world. This new brand and website mark a fresh beginning, one that aligns with Joe’s evolving vision and the kinds of photography that will emerge from his travels and life experiences.

At the heart of this transformation is SV Animaashi, Joe’s sailing vessel and mobile studio, currently navigating the southeastern coastline of the United States. Living aboard Animaashi allows Joe to immerse himself in the natural landscapes that inspire his work. His photography draws on the calming, healing influence of the ocean and coastal environments, capturing the essence of resilience, renewal, and the beauty of nature in every frame.

The new direction for Joe Clark Photography will bring an exciting mix of both familiar and fresh imagery. Expect a collection of coastal landscapes, serene seascapes, and intimate glimpses of the natural world—all deeply informed by Joe’s personal journey and the healing power of the sea. As Joe continues to travel and evolve as an artist, his work will reflect this fluid and ever-changing environment, creating art that is as dynamic and alive as the ocean itself.

Whether you’re a long-time supporter or discovering Joe’s work for the first time, we invite you to join this new journey. Explore our collections, learn more about the inspiration behind the images, and stay tuned for new photography that emerges from life aboard SV Animaashi.
